Here at Emanuel Baptist, Everyone is EQUALLY Important.
Emanuel Baptist Church
Everyone's contribution to the ministry allows our Pastor to be able to "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" Matthew 28:19-20.
Through service within the ministry, it also makes us determined to serve God wholeheartedly with a desire to please Him only and to teach others to do the same.
Mission Statement
We as ushers play a very vital part in our Ministry. We represent the church in a very visible way. Because we are the first to be seen in our Worship Services by visitors, our mission is to help set the tone in preparation for the worship service as well as assisting in the smooth operation during the service. By doing this we help aid in the vision of our beloved Pastor.
Mission Statement
Our Mission is to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to those who have strayed away from the faith and to provide for those who are in a need. Just as our LORD and Jesus Christ remains faithful to us with His new mercies, Great is our faithfulness in serving the people of God so that our works would reflect the love of God in us. By doing this we aid in the Vision of our Beloved Pastor.
Mission Statement
The Mission of the Welcome Ministry is to offer hospitality to one another without grumbling (I Peter 4:9) as a service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and our Ministry here at Emanuel Baptist Church. We are committed to serving the Saints of God, faithfully administering God's Grace in various forms of service. We have purposed ourselves and our service to make our visiting friends and every Child of the Most High King feel the love of Jesus Christ through our service. Our Motto is "We are the Little Church on the Corner with a BIG Heart"
Mission Statement
Our Mission is to witness and minister to the Saints of god through Holy Dance. We have purposed in our hearts and minds to offer God praises for His love and faithfulness to us. As we minister to the people of God our prayer is, that as God ministers to us through Songs of Praises that our ministry through dance would encourage the people of God. By doing this we aid in the vision of our Beloved Pastor.
Mission Statement
The Mission of the Thrift Ministry is to help those in need in a loving and dignified manner, by accepting donations of no-longer-used clothing, furniture and appliances that may be needed by others of the church and community through charitable re-sale. But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philppians 4:19
Mission Statement
Our Mission is to support our Pastor as he prepares himself to Minister the Word of God. We have committed ourselves to assume some of the roles of an "Armor Bearer" taking care of some it the tasks in an effort to release our Pastor of the worries of such things which gives him more time to focus on the Spiritual Welfare of God's people. In doing this we aid in the Vision of our Beloved Pastor.
Mission Statement
The Mission of SIC~ Sisters In Christ on Assignment for God is to encourage & strengthen the body of believers. Our goal is to teach the gospel of Christ and aid in the spiritual growth within the body of Christ helping to build strong Women of God. We pray to gain a clear understanding of the role that GOD has intended for us. We have committed ourselves, using our spiritual strength to build up the kingdom of GOD and tear down the kingdom of Satan. As we grow in Christ we will purpose ourselves to promote spiritual growth in other ladies within our communities in an effort to aid in the vision our beloved Pastor.
The purpose of SIC is to gain new insight of GOD’s word as we seek to aid our Pastor's vision for this ministry. Our prayer is that Christ would form us all into a unified body and "Make us a group of individuals who are united in our purpose & in our love for one another and in our love for the LORD." (Eph. 4:16)
EBC Sisters In Christ on Assignment for GOD has a new endeavor.....Fit 2 Be Used
Believing that GOD, not only wants a willing vessel but he wants that vessel to be physically able to carry out great works. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NIV says "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” Why not tend to the temple and take care of these bodies that GOD created with such great love in HIS heart. This group was created to motivate and inspire Sisters in Christ to become Fit 2 Be Used by GOD. Building up the Spiritual (1st) and Physical Woman to be an able vessel for the kingdom of GOD. We are not physical trainers but we are physical motivators and the biggest cheerleaders a person could ever imagine. So let's Squad up and tend to these temples.
Mission Statement
Our Mission is to pray without ceasing for our Pastor, and the entire Ministry of Emanuel Baptist Church. We have also purposed ourselves and our Ministry to intercede for the Saints of God everywhere, to pray and not faint especially for the Lost Sheep of this world who do not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Personal Savior. We lift up in our prayers, standing in the gap for those who may be in their sick bed of affliction, those who have strayed away from the faith for whatever reason and the World as a whole to include this Country's Governing Body.
Jeremiah 9:17 -18 (NIV) This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Consider now! Call for the Wailing Women" to come; send for the most skillful of them. Let them come quickly and wail over us til our eyes overflow with tears and water streams from our eyelids.
